Jersey Shore Scouting — Values, Standards, and Fun!

The Jersey Shore Council - Boy Scouts of America instills the values and standards boys and girls should live by. Our dedicated leaders and volunteers provide a secure environment for the development of each of our Scouts into American citizens who are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit, and who have a high degree of self-reliance. From activities for cub scouts at summer camps in NJ to teen leadership building activities,our programs are designed to teach qualities such as initiative, courage, and resourcefulness—right up to Eagle Scout requirements—in preparing them for life as responsible adults.

The Jersey Shore Council offers something for everybody. In addition to our activities for boysand girls, we provide opportunities for parents, community leaders, and volunteers to get involved in the lives of our Scouts in a number of positive ways:

  • For Kids — From Jersey shore camping for Scouts to family camping trips to a variety of other outdoor activities for kids, the fun and learning never ends at the Jersey Shore Council!
  • For Parents — Whether you volunteer your time or are a working parent looking for positive outlets for your child, you’re assured that when your child joins our Jersey Shore Council he or she will participate in safe, fun, physical activities for kids that will foster personal growth and maturity.
  • For Families —The Jersey Shore Council offers Moms, Dads, and siblings involvement through programs that encourages families to do things together. All programs are designed to help accomplish worthy goals while building and strengthening relationships among family members.
  • For Leaders — Interested in becoming a scout leader? The rewards are tremendous as you help build boys into committed, responsible adult men of character.
